Handwoven in Cuetzalan, Puebla, this jonote “huacal” basket is crafted by the Siuamej Xonoijktini Women’s Collective, a cooperative preserving traditional Nahua weaving techniques. Made from sustainably harvested jonote fiber and bejuco, each piece carries the natural texture and strength of fibers used for generations.
Lightweight and multifunctional, it works as wall storage, a catch-all, or an organic decorative accent. Its open-weave structure and curved frame give it an airy, sculptural look while remaining durable for everyday use.
