Casa Viviana Sculptural Beeswax Floral Candle - Small

Handcrafted in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, this sculptural ivory candle is made entirely by hand from 100% natural beeswax by Doña Viviana Alávez, continuing a generations-old family tradition.

Each candle is hand-poured layer by layer, petal by petal, using ancestral techniques passed down through women in her family. This slow, deliberate process creates a richly sculptural form, a longer burn time, and a naturally warm aroma of honey and wax.

Doña Viviana has practiced this craft since childhood. For decades, her work has supported not only her family but her entire community, illuminating weddings, proposals, religious ceremonies, and celebrations throughout Mexico. Her floral candle forms were inspired by a single rose—transforming a functional object into a piece of living heritage.

Every candle is unique. Subtle variations in shape, texture, and tone are a natural result of the handmade process and are part of its beauty.
